MFD\u2019s (Multi Function Devices), validate them and send the data to a Dynamics AX system.
Sources for the meter readings can come from emails sent by the MFD\u2019s (Multi Function Devices) or from
manufacturer web services.
The machine alerts sent by the MFD\u2019s (Multi Function Devices) are used to determine if the customer needs
consumables sent to them.
Emails sent from MFD\u2019s (Multi Function Devices) are processed by the service every 10 minutes. After they
have gone through some basic validation, they are sent to the AX system which will decided if a consumable
order is generated. The order is printed on the stores printer.
Meter readings are gathered overnight from manufacturers services. Some of these services are connected
via a web service and others are supplied as a CSV file.
Information from warning emails sent from individual MFD (Multi Function Devices) are required to be
analyse to determine if a consumable order should be generated within AX.
